How to redeem your Target Gift Card
Online (Target.com):
- Sign in to your Target account and add items to cart.
- At checkout, open the Gift cards section.
- Enter your card number and access code (PIN).
- Apply the gift card balance to your order and complete checkout.
In-store (U.S. Target stores):
- Present your physical gift card or show the digital eGiftCard barcode from the Target App’s Wallet to the cashier for scanning.
Notes: Some categories are restricted. Target gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards or certain services. See Target’s gift card help page for details.
Gifting a Target Gift Card
After fulfilment, retrieve the eGiftCard details from your Bytgem order email and share the card number and access code securely with the recipient. For a personal touch, print the digital card details and include them in a physical card. Unredeemed codes can be gifted; once applied to a Target account or used at checkout, value is tied to that balance.

Where can I use it?
At Target.com and all Target stores in the U.S. It’s also valid at Starbucks and CVS Pharmacy locations inside Target stores, and in-store at Target Optical.
Where can’t I use it?
Not valid to purchase other gift cards (e.g., Visa/Mastercard/AmEx/iTunes/other specialty cards), not for Target Circle™ Card payments, not at MinuteClinic locations within Target, and not for online purchases with Target Optical.
Does the Target Gift Card expire?
No. Target gift cards do not expire and do not incur fees.
Can I return or exchange this gift card?
Digital gift card sales are final. Please confirm the correct product and denomination before you play/select. See Bytgem Terms for refunds and balance refunds.
My card isn’t working — what should I do?
- Re-enter the card number and access code (PIN) exactly as shown.
- Check the remaining balance via your Target account or Target’s balance checker (if available).
- Ensure you’re using the card in the U.S. and for eligible items.
- If issues persist, contact Target Guest Services with your gift card details. For Bytgem delivery confirmation, email [email protected] with your Game ID.
What if I lose the card/code?
Treat the code like cash. Bytgem cannot replace lost, stolen, or already-redeemed codes.
- For eGiftCards, Target may assist only with the purchaser’s confirmation email as proof of purchase.
- For physical cards, contact Target’s GiftCard team with the original receipt to request a replacement for any remaining balance (at Target’s discretion).

- Security: Do not share your card number or access code publicly. Only enter codes on Target.com or in the official Target App.
