For which accounts is the PlayStation voucher valid?
Your voucher region must match your PSN account region.
To check: sign in to Account Management → Account → Account Details → Country/Region.
If the card and account regions don’t match, redemption will fail.
How do I top up my PlayStation balance? (Redeem code)
- Open the PlayStation Store (console or web).
- Select Redeem Code from the menu.
- Enter the voucher code you receive from us.
- Confirm—your PSN wallet is topped up immediately.
Can you transfer PlayStation balance?
No. PSN wallet balance is not transferable to another account.
You can, however, gift the code to someone before you redeem it.
How long are PSN gift cards valid?
- Voucher/code validity: typically 3 years from purchase/issuance (varies by country—see Sony terms).
- PSN wallet balance: may expire after 24 months of inactivity in some regions. Check your local terms.
Can I withdraw my PSN account balance?
No. Payouts/withdrawals of PSN balance aren’t possible.

- Ensure card region = account region.
- Enter the code exactly (watch O/0 and I/1).
- Update system software and retry via PlayStation Store → Redeem Code.
- If issues persist, contact PlayStation Support at playstation.com/helpme.
